What is Hard ResetA hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, appliions and data added by the user are removed. The term is often hrd in reference to smart and tablets but laptop and desktop computers, as well as most other electronic devices, can usually be restored to factory conditions.

Factory reset may be accomplished through various procedures, depending on the particular device, or may be available as a device or operating system fture. Hard reset contrasts with soft reset, which just mns to restart a device.

1. press the Power and
Volume Up/Down at the same time until the phone
switches on.

2. Once the AT&T logo apprs, relse the Power while
continuing to press the Volume Up/Down .
3. Continue to press the Volume Up/Down for at lst 8
seconds, until Recovery mode is launched and the Android
System Recovery screen is displayed.

4. Relse the Volume Up/Down .

5. The following options are available:

• reboot system now: this option turns on your phone.
• reinstall packages: this option allows you to apply updates to your
phone.
• delete all user data: deletes all data from the phone.
• delete cache data: allows you to delete all cache data such as log
files.
6. Use the Volume Up/Down to scroll up or down, then
use the Power to make a selection.
