Verizon wireless has just relsed its 2.3 Gingerbrd firmware update for Droid 2 Global. You can now upgrade your phone via OTA user or server initiated procedures. The upgrade will take you approximately 30 to 60 minutes to download the software, depending on network conditions. The size for this software upgrade from version 2.4.330 to 4.5.600 is 103MB.
