What is Hard ResetA hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. You should only perform a hard reset or cln boot when all other reset options have failed to restore your smartphone to an operational state. From this menu you can reset your tablet and sound settings to
the factory default settings.
1. From Idle mode, touch ➔ Settings ➔ Privacy.
2. Touch Factory data reset.
This action erases all data from your tablet except current
system software and bundled appliions, or SD card files
such as music or photos.
3. Touch Reset tablet.


Reset Galaxy Tab with Hardware

If Android OS is not loading then you can hard reset Galaxy Tab using hardware combination.

* Make sure tab is turned off, Press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds to turn it off.
* Press and hold the “Volume Up” and “Power” buttons at the same time, when logo apprs on the screen relse the “Power” button and continue press the “Volume” button
* When recovery screen apprs use “Volume Up/Down” buttons to navigate and select “wipe data / Factory reset” by pressing the “Home” or “Power” button (Depends on Galaxy Tab model).
